Photos 5 - "Nameless"
Jeep Magazine shoot, Oct. 2004
Photos by Chris "Xenon" Hanson
The publishers of "Jeep Magazine"
approached Tree Climbing Colorado to demonstrate recreational tree climbing
for their Spring 2005 issue. Harv thought "Nameless", a 400-500 year-old
ponderosa on a working ranch, would make a great choice for the shooting
locale. Along with the magazine crew, Harv invited Chris, a recent
BTCC graduate, and Gretchen from the Girl Scouts Mile Hi Council, to round
out the guided climb team.
Below are pictures taken by Chris
of the tree, the climb, the ranch, and the team. The day began cloudy
with showers, but finished clear with a beautiful sunset. Harv is
in the orange helmet on the red rope, Chris' in the red shirt, and Pikes
Peak's in the background of one of the shots.
